Katrina + Landon – The Lerner Theatre – Elkhart Indiana

This was a wedding I was waiting for. I got to go back up to my hometown and see my family and film a wedding. What a great weekend. I forget the story of how they found me, but I believe Katrina may have found my website and Landon was like, “I know him, and his brother.” My brother knows pretty much everyone in northern Indiana and Landon and his brother Austin are good friends of his.

Like Katrina said, it really was perfect. One of those flawless weddings. They had their first look at this old, awesome home (that I’d like to live in) near downtown Elkhart. Beautiful shady trees surrounding the home made for some great lighting. Then the ceremony and reception were both at The Lerner Theater, which recently had a multimillion dollar renovation and looked amazing. This building has been around since 1924, almost 100 years!

It was fun working with Susie’s Photography and my DJ buddy Matt with Infinity Music Service. Matt kept the dance floor popping.

I hope this is a day you never forget and you have many more special days like this for years to come. Thank you, Katrina and Landon, for allowing me to follow you around all day with a camera. Take care, and God bless.

Beautiful wedding of beautiful people. Matt Kiefer is my nephew; Chuck & Karen Youngman (bride's grandparents) are friends and classmates from Concord, and groom's mother, Cathy Conrad is friend and co-worker from Concord. What a wonderful story so eloquently told. Jan Horner
