Brooke + Troy – The Historic Meeting House At New Garden – Richmond, In

First wedding I’ve filmed in Richmond, In, and it was an amazing experience. The Historic Meeting House at New Garden is a great venue for an outdoor fall wedding. It was great getting to know Brooke and Troy. They have a deep love for each other and even a deeper love for Christ. It will be exciting to see how God works in their lives. Their story together started when, I believe, they were 14 and haven’t been apart since. I hope this film will help you remember your wedding forever.

Betsy + Nick – Indiana Statehouse Wedding

I think I had Nick and Betsy’s wedding booked a couple years before their date. They were on it and planned ahead. I was excited to film my first wedding in the Indiana Statehouse and also a first with photographer Sara Ackermann and the planners at Boldly Chic Events. Following the ceremony the reception was the Skyline Club, which always makes a great party with the amazing view.

Betsy and Nick are a fun couple. It was funny to see all the facial expressions on Nick while editing. I hope your wedding was everything you dreamed and may there be many more exciting moments to come!

Jackie + Barry – Scottish Rite Cathedral Wedding

What a day, full of fun and excitement. The ceremony was at the Arts Garden, then we were escorted by a parade to the Scottish Rite for the reception. That was a first for me and what a cleaver idea. It was a beautiful well planned day, thanks to coordinator Jessica Dum.

Big thanks to Jackie and Barry for having me along for the day!

Caitlin + Dan – Woodstock Country Club

A few months before the wedding I got a chance to talk with Caitlin’s mother on the phone. She came across another wedding I filmed at Woodstock Country Club on the internet and liked what she saw. After the phone call I was excited to meet the family and friends. The wedding was perfect. The ceremony was full of personalization and stories about Caitlin and Dan, which made it easier on my end to tell the story.

I’m glad you decided to go with a videographer, and I hope this is something you can cherish for years and years. Congrats Caitlin and Dan!

Nicole + Brett – Union Station Wedding

It was a lot of fun spending the day with Nicole and Brett. The ceremony was at Sacred Heart and the reception was at Union Station. With both of these beautiful old buildings it really couldn’t go wrong. And the band Zanna Doo was keeping the entertainment going all night. Best of luck to Nicole and Brett, I’m privileged you had me along for the ride.

How did you get started in weddings?
I majored in Event Management in college and gained experience in the industry. I discovered I really enjoyed connecting with couples and families as I helped them make their visions come to life.

Favorite night of the week, and why?
Friday! The weekend has finally begun! Although, this usually means we are still working!:)

Where do you go for inspiration?
I lose myself in magazines. Although the internet is full of inspiration, I love being able to kick back on the couch and flip through these glossies.

What’s your favorite part of a wedding?
My favorite part is watching the couple’s first dance. I get chills every time.

How would you describe your style?
Modern, trendy, bold.

Where can we find you when you’re not working?
Probably watching Bravo.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
“Chic”….makes sense.

What’s always in your fridge?
Wine. Always. And pickles, I’m obsessed.

What is your greatest extravagance?
Purses.

What advice would you give a couple the day before their wedding?
Have fun! When couple’s trust their vendors to make sure their day is perfect, they shouldn’t have any distractions or be stressing about the smallest details.
